How does starwishtemple cast a Meihua Yishu reading?

The first wish number sets the upper trigram, the second sets the lower trigram and the third sets the moving line. Together they reveal the present pattern, the point of change and the direction ahead, before becoming clear guidance for everyday life.

  1. 1
    Choose one theme

Focus on love, career, wealth or your general direction.

  2. 2
    Spin three numbers

The numbers map to the upper trigram, lower trigram and moving line.

  3. 3
    Read your wish slip

See both hexagrams and one practical step for reflection.

What is divination, and how is this different from tarot?

A structured way to reflect on uncertainty

Divination uses symbols or defined systems to examine a question and possible change. starwishtemple treats it as a prompt for reflection: the cast offers another angle, while the decision remains yours.

Meihua Yishu, not tarot cards

Tarot combines card images and spreads. Meihua Yishu maps numbers to the Eight Trigrams, then examines an original hexagram, moving line and changed hexagram. Both can support reflection, but their symbols, casting methods and reading structures differ.

One set of numbers, one unfolding hexagram

The same wish numbers reveal the same original hexagram, moving line and changed hexagram. From there, your slip brings forward the present pattern, a signal worth noticing and one practical place to begin.

How can you ask a more useful divination question?

Hold one meaningful question in mind and choose the closest wish theme. Give it one situation, a clear time frame and something you can observe or act on, and the guidance becomes more focused.
